Welcome to Track a Truck, a searchable database for truck fleets around the world. The About us section will tell you more of why we are here and who we are. We only became operational: Feb 2016 but the database has grown from nothing to what it is now. We consider it to be the pre-eminent, most comprehensive searchable database for Worldwide truck fleets. This has come about due to the thousands of hours put into the site by the dedicated admin team.
Please have a look round and if you like what you see and it meets your requirements, why not join us? If you have any queries, please use the Contact us form below. Thank you for looking at this web site.
Track a Truck has been created by truck enthusiasts for truck enthusiasts so we’ve brought our members all the features we’d want to see on a truck spotting site.
Starting from zero, the database has grown rapidly to now detail nearly 16,000 fleets and vehicles. Initially we only listed European fleets but have now expanded to cover worldwide fleets.
Each vehicle entry will contain all the major information required to identify it. This will include the registration, specification, livery, fleet number as it appears, Country of registration and whether the vehicle is in use or not.
For most members this will be the hub of the database and will be the vehicle (excuse the pun!) for logging all those hard won spots. The database will be fully searchable to make this process as easy as possible.
The place where members' photographs will appear. Each photo will show the members name and they will retain copyright of any photographs that appear on the site.
Keep your eye on this section for details of new fleets added and general information that affects the operation of Track a Truck. Members are able to contribute by leaving messages on the Forum.
The database will only be as good as the information provided by members and they are encouraged to send in details using the appropriate links. This information will be actioned as expeditiously as possible and the member informed.

Track a Truck was born out of a desire to have a searchable database dedicated to the European trucking sector. This was then expanded to cover all non UK fleets and finally now UK fleets. The site is owned by Phil Sears who is ably assisted by two Administrators, Gerhard Wallentin and Jonno Wright.
Phil was born in Birmingham in 1942 moving to Burntwood, Staffordshire, in 1965 where he still lives. He worked 33 years for the various incarnations of BT followed by 20 years at The Belfry, the spiritual home of the Ryder Cup, where he worked in the Conference division. He retired in 2013.
Gerhard was born in 1961 in Austria moving in 1996 to Belgium. He has recently retired as VIP chauffeur to the European Commission. This has given him a wealth of knowledge of the European trucking scene. He is a regular visitor to the UK having family through his marriage to Sharon.
Jonno was born in 1986 in the Surrey countryside but now lives between Portsmouth and Southampton. He developed an interest in trucks from an early age due to his relatives owning the Great Yarmouth haulage company Spandler Bros. Being a truck enthusiast for over 30 years and spending his working life in transport and logistics has given him a formidable knowledge. He specialises in fleets from the 90's and early 00's which provides a great historical aspect to the information we have available.
So, you can see we bring a wealth of knowledge to this site and our aim is to provide a comprehensive coverage of the Worldwide trucking sector. We will do our very best to maintain this database as accurate as possible but this is very difficult due to the lack of access to official records. Any help that we are given will be most appreciated. Due to holidays beyond Europe, particularly the USA and Australia, the database will also list vehicles noted beyond European boundaries. We hope you enjoy this site which will be amended on a regular basis.
